Welcome to the Jackson County WV 9-1-1 Communications Center located in Ripley, WV. Our mission is to enhance and preserve the quality of life for every citizen in Jackson County by processing emergency calls to save lives, protect and reduce property losses and preserve our environment; thereby dispatching law enforcement agencies, fire departments and emergency medical service units in an efficient, courteous and professional manner creating a safer county to live, work and visit.

 Our Communications Center is manned 24/7 by a minimum of two professional telecommunicators on twelve hour shifts.

Our website will contain information pertaining to various events that take place at our center.  The information will include: (a) call volume by agency on a monthly basis; (b) county ordinances on Flood Plain Permits and Addressing and Mapping; (c) warrant list; (d) list of all road names currently in use in Jackson County; (e) sign up section for the WARN System.
